This festive season Carers Leeds celebrated with parties, games and presents.
In the run up to Christmas, Carers Leeds proudly hosted celebrations for carers. With festive food, bingo, arts and crafts and a musical quiz, unpaid carers from across the city getting into the Christmas spirit.
Staff and Volunteers also enjoyed their own parties and we are incredibly grateful to all the hard work they do.
Alongside our celebrations, we were also delighted to receive a number of donations from Markel, who have been a proud supporter of our work for a number of years. Thanks to Markel, we gifted over 200 presents to unpaid carers across Leeds and an additional donation will help Carers Leeds support more carers in 2023.

My role as a hands-on supporter for Anne Earwood, my dear friend, has now come to an end as Nancey, as she’s known, has been moved to Preston Car Home to be near her beloved cousin Ian, her only remaining relative. I shall miss my dear friend but I’m happy she’s close to him in her final days, now nearly 95! God will I g I’ll visit her in warmer times.
