Carer support groups
Carers Leeds facilitates around 20 carer support groups each month. Group support is a good way to share experiences and get peer support from other people a similar situation.
The groups are welcoming, friendly, and give you the opportunity to get advice, information and support tailored towards your caring role.
We run general carer support groups which are open to all carers as well as specialist carer groups at locations across the city. Whether you are a parent carer, or you care for someone with dementia, we have groups to suit a wide range of needs.
We also offer 3 regular social groups (a book group, a walk and talk group and a creative group). Some groups have speakers who may be of particular interest to the group.
For more information about groups, dates and times, view our events page here.
