Part of the carer education and wellbeing project, this session looks at stress.

Living in the modern western post pandemic world, and also being a carer, means that stress is probably a regular feature of our lives. This session explores what stress is and how we can live with it.

Whilst we cant eliminate it altogether, sometimes understanding why our body and brain reacts as it does to stress can be helpful in accepting it as an unfortunate inevitable part of life. We will explore lots of coping strategies and techniques for dealing with stress.

This interactive sessions lasts approximately 90 minutes with a ten minute break in the middle and will include lots of group discussion along with learning about some of the resources that are available to you.

Email jo.foster@carersleeds.org.uk or phone the advice line 0113 380 4300 to book your place.

This event takes place online via zoom, you will be sent the invite shortly before the event.
