Message in a Bottle Pick Up: Armley Help Hands

EMERGENCY PLANNING FOR CARERS: PICK UP YOUR FREE PACK
In collaboration with West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, Carers Leeds will be distributing a FREE emergency planning pack to unpaid carers across the city. The pack will include a Message in a Bottle (A ‘Lions Club International’ initiative), contingency plan, Carers Leeds carers emergency card, some top tips and useful information.
A ‘Message in a Bottle‘ is a way of keeping personal, medical and contingency details in a small plastic bottle in the fridge.
It is recognised by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and will allow them to act upon information stored quickly. Completing the contingency plan from your emergency pack will enable them to put contingency plans into place for the person that you care for, if required.
If you are an unpaid carer, supporting a friend or family member due to their illness, disability, mental health issue or a substance misuse problem, then come along to collect your pack.
