The Osmondthorpe Hub and the PSI Network invite you to celebrate International Day of Disabled People 2016.

The event will be opened by the Lord Mayor, Cllr Gerry Harper and this will be followed by a talk by local paralympian Bret Crossley.

There will be stalls (see below) and information from local disability support organisations, plus activities and workshops including a dance workshop with the Leaps and Bounds group, music, computer skills, boccia.

All welcome, no need to book, just pop in anytime during the day.

This year’s international theme is Achieving 17 Goals for the Future We Want. This draws attention to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and how these goals can create a more inclusive and equitable world for disabled people.

BSL interpreters will be available.
