Are you caring for a family member or friend with dementia?

Carers Leeds are offering free information workshops for carers of people with dementia.

These sessions will take place in person at the Carers Leeds office and are suitable for people who are caring for someone who lives at home, rather than in a care home.

Carers Leeds offer free workshops to help carers find out more about:

• Understanding dementia
• Coping with unusual behaviours
• Practical ways to support someone living with dementia.
• Looking after yourself
• Maximising your income
• Mental Capacity
• Planning ahead
• Support for the person with dementia
• Planning for an emergency

This workshop is a split workshop and takes place over 2 days. The first session is on Wednesday 14th February 2024 at 11am – 1pm and the second session is Wednesday 21st February 2024 at 11am – 1pm.
