The Caring Kind Project

The Caring Kind Project is a charitable service launched by Carers Leeds that matches West Yorkshire’s unpaid carers with quality, free breaks – rewarding carers’ dedication with moments of rest, joy, and recognition.

The project is made possible by the kindness of local businesses that generously give breaks, experiences, and services that benefit our community of carers. From hotels to hairdressers, cafés to cultural venues — The Caring Kind Project is building a community of local businesses whose generosity directly improves the well-being of unpaid carers.

This new initiative is in the early stages of development, and with a key focus on growing the community and the range of offers that can be passed on to carers.

If you would like more information about the break options available, please express your interest in the service to your support worker.

To find out more about the project more generally, visit The Caring Kind Project website and follow the project on social media #wearethecaringkind.
