Carers Leeds welcomes and supports all carers. We see and value carers from minority ethnic communities, and our aim is for you to feel welcome and safe to access our service.
We know that Black, Asian and ethnic minority carers provide more care on average and face additional difficulties. You might experience discrimination, or a lack of understanding from service providers, and there can be an impact on your emotional and mental wellbeing.
If you find it difficult to communicate in English, we can use an interpreting service to help.
We also work in partnership with trusted organisations across the city, and you may find it helpful to access the support they offer.
