Alcohol & substance misuse

Carers Leeds provides support for the families and friends of people who use drugs and/or alcohol, also known as ‘concerned others’.

We can help you through our:

We can support you to manage your own health, wellbeing and relationships, as well as your caring role. We can also offer guidance on managing money and practicalities, and how to get time to yourself.

Our approach is flexible and adaptable, because we know every carer is unique.

Please note Carers Leeds does not work directly with the person using substances.

I had never spoken with anyone about my son’s addiction before and found it was a weight off my shoulders to talk to someone who listened and understood.
