Over the past few months, we’ve created a brand-new series of advice videos designed to support unpaid carers across Leeds. We know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate information and services, so our aim is to make key guidance clear, accessible, and easy to find whenever you need it.
What’s covered?
Our videos focus on some of the most important topics for carers:
- Carers Assessments – what they are and how they can help you
- Aids & Adaptations – practical support to make life easier at home
- Benefits & Carer’s Allowance – understanding what you may be entitled to
- Grants, Breaks & Discounts – opportunities for financial and wellbeing support
- Lasting Power of Attorney – planning ahead to protect your rights and wishes
- Emergency Planning – making sure there’s a plan in place if you’re unable to provide care
