Carer Stories Filming Opportunity: we want to hear from you!
We’re excited to be developing a special video project to highlight the voices of unpaid carers supported by Carers Leeds.
We’re looking for three carers to take part in professionally produced short videos that will help raise awareness of the breadth and impact of unpaid caring. These videos will also support our fundraising efforts, helping us continue to be there for carers across Leeds. All carers will receive a voucher for their involvement.
Each video will be around two minutes long and will explore:
- A short introduction to you and the person you care for (and their condition)
- How caring has impacted your life
- The support you’ve received from Carers Leeds and the difference this has made to you
What is involved:
- Filming will take place on one day at a single location (likely at our Carers Leeds office at Mabgate, Leeds)
- Around two minutes of speaking to a camera (seated) plus some additional supporting footage (for example, making a cuppa or reading a leaflet)
- Proposed filming date: Tuesday 5th May 2026
- Refreshments and travel expenses will be provided
