Join Carers Leeds and local artist Beth Hewines for a free Zine Workshop at the beautiful Temple Newsam House and Estate.
What is a zine?
A zine is a small self-made magazine or booklet which can be used to tell a personal story, or the story of a piece of music, artist, hobby or even a celebrity you like, or just be a display of your creative thoughts on the day.
The artist Beth will work with you to create your own ‘zine’ during this 90-minute workshop.
There is also the very exciting opportunity to have your zine displayed at an exhibition in Leeds City Museum, sitting alongside other artworks and zines created with several other partners and community groups at this exhibition. The exhibition begins at the beginning of Oct 2026 and will run till the May 2027.
