The Young Dementia Carers group is a friendly group for carers supporting someone Under the age of 65 with dementia.
The group aims to offer support and advice from like minded carers in similar situations to themselves
The sessions are based at the Young Dementia Leeds Hub every second Saturday of the month. Carers can bring the person with dementia with them who will be supervised by the Hub’s staff whilst the Carer is in the support group. After the session ends, Carers can rejoin with loved ones in the main room of the Hub and enjoy the Dementia Cafe together from 10.30am – 12pm.
Please ring the advice line to arrange a chat with the group organiser ( Nashima ) before attending a group for the first time. Advice and support will not be available on a drop in basis but can be arranged prior to attending the group.
