Are you interested in finding out more about health research?

Would you like to know how you can get involved?

Carers Leeds is supporting a Lunch and Learn event in partnership with the NIHR Leeds Biomedical Research Centre.

Join us for an event where people who are involved in health research will share their work and talk about how it has changed and improved support and treatments for illness and disease. Previous topics have included talking about research into diabetes, knee replacements, antibiotic resistance and bowel cancer.

Researchers, who may be clinicians or academics, will be available to answer your questions and tell you more about how to get involved in health research, but there’s no pressure if you decide that involvement isn’t for you.

The sessions are informal and interactive, and lunch will be provided. We can also support with transport and other access needs.
