Before taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, all participants are required to complete a waiver form.

This form confirms that you understand the nature of the event and the challenges involved, and that you are taking part at your own risk. It also helps us ensure everyone’s safety and that the event runs smoothly.

Accident Waiver and Liability Form

I hereby assume all risks associated with participating in any and all activities connected with the Three Peaks walk on Saturday 22 August 2026, 5.30am – 5.30pm.

In consideration of my application and being permitted to participate in this activity, I, on behalf of myself, my employers, employees, and any members of the public in my care, agree as follows:

(A) I waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability, including but not limited to liability arising from negligence or fault, Carers Leeds and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, as well as activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, theft, or actions of any kind that may occur as a result of participation in this activity.

(B) I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and not bring any claim against the above-mentioned entities or persons for any liabilities or claims arising from participation in this activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

I acknowledge that this activity may test physical and mental limits and carries risks including, but not limited to, death, serious injury, and property loss. These risks may arise from factors such as terrain, facilities, weather conditions, participant fitness, equipment, traffic, hydration, and the actions of others including participants, volunteers, and event organisers. These risks apply to both participants and spectators.

I further grant permission for Carers Leeds to use photographs, video, or other recordings of this event for promotional or other purposes.

I certify that I have read this document and fully understand its content. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract, and I sign it of my own free will.
