The Charity for Civil Servants is the in house charity for the Civil Service, providing financial support, information and advice to current, former and retired civil servants and their dependants.

In September 2010 they launched  The Carer’s Passport, which aims to help working carers by assessing their needs as a carer and how this may be impacting them at work, in terms of performance, attendance and efficiency. The idea is that their responsibilities are outlined to their manager, in the form of the Carer’s Passport. This document highlights special arrangements that the individual may benefit from as a result of their caring responsibilities.

They surveyed recipients of the passport and you can read the results here.
