Mental Health Recovery Group
January 31 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating indefinitely
This friendly, informal group is for anyone with an interest in mental health recovery including people who experience mental health difficulties, carers, friends, family and mental health workers.
We can help you with coping strategies, what to do in a crisis, gaining knowledge, skills to help recovery and meeting other people.
This group is one of many specialist carer groups within the city. Group support is a good way to share experiences and get emotional support from other people in the same or similar situation.
The groups are welcoming and friendly, give carers a break from caring and gives you the opportunity to get advice, information and support tailored towards your caring role.
Some groups enjoy activities, well-being sessions and have speakers who may be of particular interest to the group.
If you need any further information please contact Carers Leeds advice line on 0113 380 4300.
