Male carer trip: Golden Acre park
March 23, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm| Free
If you are a male carer why not meet with other men who are looking to take a break from caring responsibilities and that share a good understanding of your situation. This month we invite you to join us for an early spring walk around the wonderful
gardens and circular lakeside walk at Golden Acre park in North Leeds, followed by refreshments in the café.
Suitable clothing and footwear required.
Booking is essential. Please call the Carers Leeds event booking line on 0113 246 8338 to secure your place.
This male carers group is one of many free carers groups within the city. Group support is a good way to share experiences and get emotional support from other people in the same or similar situation.
The groups are welcoming and friendly, give carers a break from caring and gives you the opportunity to get advice, information and support tailored towards your caring role.
Some groups enjoy activities, well-being sessions and have speakers who may be of particular interest to the group.
If you need any further information please contact Carers Leeds advice line on 0113 380 4300.
