Carers Leeds Information Stall with Bat and Chat
June 16, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Now the weather is finally improving, we are able to take our information stalls around Leeds.
We believe it is a great opportunity to tell the local community about all the fantastic work we do and let people ask questions and find out what services we provide.
This information stall is at Leeds City Centre Market indoor event space – drop by for more information from one of our Carers Support Workers.
This information event will also have the added bonus of being a Bat n Chat event. Come down, have a brew, socialise and have a a game of table tennis with other carers, volunteers and staff.
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
The campaign is brought to life by thousands of individuals and organisations who come together to organise activities and events throughout the UK, drawing attention to just how important caring is.
This year Carers Week focuses on Building Carer Friendly Communities. Communities which support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own.
