Hello!

My name is Andy and I work for Carers Leeds as a Carer Support Worker. Part of my role with the mental health & learning disability team is to support carers of people who have a learning disability.

We work in partnership with several organisations across Leeds and we’ve just set up a series of drop in support sessions with Through the Maze. Through the Maze is an information signposting service in Leeds who support adults with learning disabilities, family, carers and professionals.

The first drop in session is taking place on Tuesday 30 October 2018, from 11.00 am till 1.00 pm, at New Wortley Community Centre, 40 Tong Rd, Leeds LS12 1LZ.

On the 27 November we are going to be at Headingley Library, North Ln, Leeds LS6 3HG, from 11.00 am till 1.00 pm.

We are also running another drop in at Holt Park Library, Ralph Thoresby High School, Holtdale Approach, Leeds LS16 7RX, on the 29th January 2019 11.00 am till 1.00 pm.

As well as being available to receive information and advice, we’re also inviting you to come along just to find out more about what we do. You can download the flyer here.
