There are some big changes happening in Leeds and the Council want to hear your views.

  1. The future of mental health support – deadline 19/02/18

The current contracts for Council-funded mental health services will also come to an end in March 2019. These are:

  • Wellbeing Service – provided by Leeds Mind
  • Mental Health Support Service – provided by Community Links
  • Support Centre – provided by Touchstone
  • Asian Women’s Mental Health Support Service – provided by DOSTI at Touchstone

After a review of the current services, Leeds City Council have proposed to merge them into a single 5 year contract starting in April 2019 and now is the time to have your say.

  1. The future of carer support – deadline 28/02/18

Carers Leeds have proudly delivered the information, advice and support service for carers in Leeds since 1996 and on 31 March 2019, our current Leeds City Council contract will come to an end. Leeds City Council have to make sure that they fairly and legally identify a service provider to deliver the service after that date.

The council have been reviewing our service and now want to hear from you. Your comments and views will feed into a new service tender specification which will detail the future of carer support in Leeds. Later this year, there will be an opportunity for organisations, including Carers Leeds, to submit an application to run the service.
