Carer poem

I write the odd verse in my spare time, so I enclose this one to show my gratitude for the work all cares do, paid or unpaid.

Carers are like Angels, their

hearts are warm and pure,

they give all their support,

without prejudice for sure.

My wife gives her love, to

her brother who’s in need,

Bob can be so demanding,

making her heart bleed.

Sometimes just being there,

is simply just very nice,

offering a warm comforting

smile, and a little advice.

Often people are lost, so it’s

nice to see a friendly face,

there is those who need help,

in getting about the place.

A carers job is huge, varied

and a rewarding task,

so if you’ve got a heart, and

want to help, just ask.
