Carers Trust have released a report today one year after the Care Act gave unpaid carers important new rights and for the first time places carers rights on the same level as those of then people they care for.
“Care Act for carers: One year on” showed that while some carers are getting good support under the Care Act, more needs to be done.
We are proud that our partnership with Leeds Adult Social Care and the NHS was highlighted as an example of good practice.
If you know of an upaid carer who isnt getting the support they are entitled to, give them our Advice Line number: 0113 380 4300.
